Winter Florals with Kate Spade

Initially I was surprised by how spring-like this dress seemed... and then I noticed the subtle hints of sparkle incorporated throughout the print. I paired it with my fave new wardrobe staple - my lavender leather jacket and my go-to Perry Heels in the prettiest shade of green. I think this dress could totally transition into spring worn sleeveless, with a light cardigan, or a denim jacket + some more delicate shoes!

Fall Fashion Trends + Perfect Leopard Booties

Yesterday I stumbled across this 'Google Trends' map of the top searched fashion trend in each state. I love looking across the map and seeing how different (and sometimes the same) different parts of the country are. 

Arizona obviously isn't worrying about cold weather moving in any time soon, so they're still searching where to find the best sun hats... must be nice. Our cowboys in Oklahoma are looking for some new stirrup pants, while Alabamans are searching for smocked dresses for, presumably, their cute little girls.  I'm on the same page as NY where everyone is looking for 'autumn cashmere' as well as my home state, Ohio, looking for some cute booties!

Welp, it didn't take me long to find a pair of adorable leopard booties to drool over:

 

These perfect booties are Kate Spade, but are not available on Kate Spade's website right now. I stumbled upon them at Nordstrom and Bloomingdales, while a quick Google search confirmed Zappos has them as well. I haven't really embraced the bootie trend yet - at least not to wear casually with jeans, but I want to!

Flower Power

I love having 'easy' outfits ready for work. I was having a little trouble getting out of bed this morning, so I immediately threw on this pre-planned outfit. The dress is super easy to wear and extemely comfortable for those days when you wish you were still in your pajamas. My Tiffany & Co bracelet is my go-to piece of jewelry, and I've been looking for every excuse to wear this necklace lately! I was so excited to see J.Crew bring this necklace back after having it sell out so quickly last summer - I snatched up mine as soon as I saw it on their website!

The Perfect Shep Shirt

I am a huge fan of Vineyard Vines' Shep Shirts. 

If you've never heard of them they're basically a pullover sweatshirt that has just the right amount of structure while also being oh so comfy. I have a custom collection Miami University one that I probably wear every other night after work. Last week I was perusing the new arrivals on VineyardVines.com and about lost my mind when I saw "Island Embroidered Shep Shirt" 

It is perfection, and after 4 days was already sold out in three sizes. They currently have XXS, S, and M left, so if you're interested you'll want to snatch one up ASAP.
